Transparent Hands, with the sponsorship of IGI Pakistan, organized a free Hepatitis B & C Screening and Vaccination Camp at IGI Pakistan, Clifton, Karachi, on 29th July 2026. The initiative aimed to promote early detection of hepatitis, raise awareness about prevention, and protect staff members from life-threatening liver diseases through timely screening and vaccination. Many people remain unaware that they are living with Hepatitis B or C. Through this camp, staff members received expert medical guidance, free screenings, and valuable information on reducing the risk of infection, empowering them to take control of their health before complications arise. Free Medical Services A total of 69 staff members benefited from free consultations and Hepatitis B & C screenings. Eligible participants also received free Hepatitis B vaccinations. Camp Statistics Total Consultations and Hepatitis B & C Screenings: 69 Attendees Vaccinated for Hepatitis B: 23 Preventive Healthcare Session Alongside the screenings, our expert doctor conducted an interactive preventive healthcare session focusing on Hepatitis B & C. Participants learned important aspects about the disease. Impact In Karachi, many people unknowingly remain at risk of developing severe liver diseases that can affect their health, productivity, and family well-being. Through this camp, 69 employees received free screenings that helped them better understand their health status, while 23 employees were protected through Hepatitis B vaccination. The camp also equipped attendees with practical knowledge to prevent infection, ultimately reducing the long-term burden of hepatitis within the community.
