Transparent Hands, with the support of Rafhan Maize and other donors, organized a free medical camp along with a preventive healthcare session at Haji Abdul Ghafoor Charitable Hospital, Village Ali Bakhsh Khaskheli, TNT, Kotri, District Jamshoro. The camp was held on December 28, 2025, with the aim of supporting underserved communities by improving access to essential medical services. Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests During the camp, 540 deserving patients received free medical consultations from qualified doctors. Patients were also provided with free medicines and access to necessary diagnostic tests, including: Diabetes tests Uric acid tests Hepatitis B and C screenings Cholesterol tests Blood pressure checkups Most Common Health-Related Issues A wide range of health concerns were reported by patients visiting the camp. The medical team provided consultations and medicines to help manage the following conditions: · Scabies · Hypertension · Joint pain · Flu, Fever · Upper respiratory tract infections · Urinary tract infections · Diabetes · Backache, Muscle pain · Otorrhea · Eye diseases · Gynecological issues Preventive Healthcare Session Alongside clinical services, one of our expert doctors conducted a preventive healthcare session focused on Hypertension. They shared information to help attendees better understand and manage this common health concern. Impact The medical camp brought medical relief to 540 patients, many of whom had been living with health concerns while facing barriers to accessing medical services. By receiving free consultations, diagnostic tests, and medicines, patients were able to address their health issues without the financial strain. The camp reduced delays in seeking medical attention and helped patients feel supported during a time of need.
