Transparent Hands, with the sponsorship of Packages Foundation, organized a free medical camp and a preventive healthcare session at the Biomass Purchase Centre, Toba Tek Singh, Shorkot. The primary objective of this camp, held on December 16, 2025, was to provide essential medical assistance to underserved communities in Shorkot. Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests: A total of 305 deserving patients received free consultations from our expert doctors. In addition to the consultations, the patients were provided with free medicines and underwent various diagnostic tests, including: · Diabetes tests · Uric acid tests · Hepatitis B and C screenings · Cholesterol tests · Blood pressure checkups · Malaria tests . Ultrasound scans Most Common Health-Related Issues At the free medical camp, a large number of patients reported various health concerns. The medical team provided free consultations and medicines to address the following issues: ● Viral fever ● Scabies ● Gastritis ● Backache, Joint Pain ● Myalgia ● Diabetes ● Flu, Cough ● Hypertension ● Acidity ● Abdominal pain ● Arthritis ● Ear infection Preventive Healthcare Session In addition to the medical services, one of our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session to educate the attendees about Hepatitis C. Impact The free medical camp had a meaningful impact on the lives of 305 deserving patients and their families. Patients received thorough medical check-ups and essential treatments without any financial burden. Many individuals shared their relief and satisfaction after accessing quality healthcare services that were otherwise difficult to obtain. Overall, the camp effectively addressed healthcare needs within the community and contributed positively to the well-being of the underserved communities.
