Description
Transparent Hands, with the support of the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), National Integrated Development Association (NIDA-Pakistan), and other donors, organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session at Government Primary School, Lower Chitral, Tehsil Drosh 1. The primary objective of this camp held on August 27, 2025, was to provide essential medical assistance to underserved communities in Drosh 1, Lower Chitral.
Services Provided
A total of 440 deserving patients received free consultations from a team of expert doctors. Along with medical consultations, patients were provided with free medicines and underwent various diagnostic tests, including:
· Diabetes tests
· Uric acid tests
· Hepatitis B and C screenings
· Cholesterol tests
· Blood pressure checkups
Most Common Health-Related Issues
Patients received consultations for a variety of diseases, including:
· Gastritis
· Scabies
· Myalgias
· Body aches
· Kidney stones
· Arthritis
· Hyperuricemia
· Hyperthyroidism
· Diabetes
· Hepatitis
· Fever, Cough
· Hypertension
· Gynecological issues
Preventive Healthcare Session
One of our expert doctors conducted a preventive healthcare session to educate attendees about Hypertension.

This free medical camp had a valuable impact on the lives of 440 deserving patients and their families. Many residents of Drosh 1 face challenges in accessing healthcare services due to limited medical facilities and financial constraints. The camp provided critical medical consultations, essential medicines, and diagnostic tests at no cost.
