Description
Transparent Hands, with the support of the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), the Organization for Community Services and Development (OCSD) and other Donors, recently organized a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to provide quality healthcare services to deserving patients in Qila Saifullah. The camp was held on September 18, 2025, at Union Council Kan Mehtar Zai, District Qila Saifullah, Balochistan.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
A total of 324 deserving patients received free consultations from expert doctors. Patients were provided with free medicines, general check-ups, blood pressure check-ups, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, and hepatitis B & C screenings.
Common Health-Related Issues
The patients visited the camp with a range of symptoms and health problems, including:
· Flu, Cough
· Diabetes
· Hypertension (HTN)
· Stomach Issues
· Body Pain
· Hyperuricemia
· Headache
· Weakness
· Gastritis
· Allergies
· Joint Pain
Free medicines were also provided to a large number of deserving patients, ensuring timely relief and care.
Preventive Healthcare Session
An expert doctor held a preventive healthcare session focused on the prevention and management of Diabetes and Hypertension (HTN).
Impact
Many residents of Qila Saifullah had been suffering from various health-related issues. Due to limited medical facilities and financial hardships, people often ignored their worsening health conditions. Through this free medical camp, 324 patients finally received the much-needed medical services. They were examined by qualified doctors, provided with free medicines and diagnostic tests, and guided about preventive healthcare.
