A free medical camp was organized at Drishak Flour Mill, Indus Highway Road, Kotla Nasir, District Rajanpur, where 320 deserving patients received free healthcare services through Transparent Hands.
The camp was arranged with the support of the Packages Foundation, aiming to provide essential medical assistance to underserved communities in the region.
Patients were provided with:
Free medical consultations by expert doctors
Free medicines
Diagnostic tests including diabetes, uric acid, cholesterol, Hepatitis B & C screenings
Blood pressure checkups
Ultrasound scans
A wide range of health conditions were treated, including:
skin allergies, asthma, abdominal pain, joint pain, diabetes, flu, fever, hypertension, acidity, ear infections, cough, and backache.
Doctors also conducted a preventive healthcare session on scabies, educating the community about symptoms, prevention, and hygiene practices.
Medical experts highlighted important public health concerns, including:
High prevalence of skin diseases and poor nutrition
Risk of malaria and dengue after floods
Importance of hygiene and clean water practices
Avoiding stagnant water to prevent mosquito breeding
Patients were advised to maintain proper hygiene, follow a healthy diet, and take prescribed medicines regularly to prevent disease complications.
Local residents expressed deep gratitude for the services provided. One patient shared that they were thankful for receiving free medicines, diagnostic tests, and professional medical care. Another resident appreciated that the medical team traveled from Lahore to Kotla Nasir, Rajanpur, to serve the community.
This camp created a meaningful impact on 320 underprivileged patients and their families, helping them access quality healthcare at no cost. Many patients experienced relief after receiving timely diagnosis and treatment.
A dedicated team of 15 healthcare and support staff ensured smooth execution of the camp, including doctors, lab technicians, pharmacists, nurses, and field staff.
