With the support of Packages Foundation, Transparent Hands organized a free medical camp in Jaranwala, Faisalabad, where 252 patients received free checkups, medicines, and diagnostic tests. These services included diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B and C screenings, cholesterol tests, blood pressure checkups, and ultrasound scans. Residents appreciated the efforts of the medical team, especially the presence of both male and female doctors providing completely free healthcare services without any charges. Many people who could not afford medical treatment were able to receive proper checkups and medicines. Patients were treated for various health issues including stomach pain, joint and muscular pain, skin allergies, cough, flu, diabetes, hypertension, chest pain, kidney pain, and gynecological problems. One patient was also identified for a surgical procedure and may be registered for further treatment after evaluation. Dr. Sajid conducted a preventive healthcare session on Hepatitis B and C, explaining how these diseases spread through infected blood and shared items, especially unsafe use of metallic tools in salons and beauty parlours. The session helped raise awareness about prevention and early diagnosis. This medical camp played an important role in improving access to healthcare for underprivileged communities in Jaranwala and encouraged people to take care of their health through regular checkups.
