Abdul Hadi, a 4-year-old boy from Lahore, was born with congenital sensorineural hearing loss and spent his early years in complete silence. His world changed after receiving a cochlear implant surgery through Transparent Hands in 2024. While the surgery enabled him to hear sounds for the first time, Abdul Hadi struggled to make sense of what he was hearing. His brain couldn’t recognize or differentiate between various sounds and words. With the generous support of donors, Transparent Hands arranged speech therapy sessions for him. These sessions are helping him to speak and make sense of the sounds he now hears. Abdul Hadi is still learning each day, growing stronger in speech and confidence. This change was only possible because of our kind-hearted donors. We extend our deepest gratitude to each one of you for giving Abdul Hadi a chance at a brighter and more connected life.
