Transparent Hands recently held a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session to make quality healthcare available to impoverished patients. The free medical camp was held at Global Wisdom English Grammar School, Khursheed Colony, Kotri, on May 14, 2024. Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests A total of 597 deserving patients received free consultations with expert doctors. Free medicines, diabetes tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, uric acid, and blood pressure check-ups were also provided. Preventive Healthcare Session Our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session for the attendees and the session focused on maintaining cleanliness at home and following hygiene practices. Most Common Diseases Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from fever, cough, flu, sore throat, chest congestion, seasonal allergies, earache, toothache, body/joint pain, kidney pain, migraine, hepatitis, high BP, diabetes, uric acid, and skin rashes. Impact The free medical camp in Kotri made a difference in the lives of 597 deserving patients and their families. It provided them with much-needed medical consultations, a wide range of diagnostic services, and valuable preventive healthcare guidance. By offering these services at no cost, the camp eased the financial burden on these families and gave them access to essential healthcare that would have otherwise been unaffordable.
