Transparent Hands, in sponsorship with Packages Group, conducted a free medical camp and preventive healthcare session at the Biomass Purchase Center, Deepalpur on April 29, 2024. The main aim of this camp was to make quality healthcare accessible to impoverished patients, ensuring they receive the essential medical services they require.
Free Consultations, Medicines, and Diagnostic Tests
At the camp, 252 deserving patients received free consultations with expert doctors. They were also provided with free medicines, diabetes tests, uric acid tests, hepatitis B & C screenings, ultrasounds, cholesterol check-ups, and blood pressure check-ups
Most Common Diseases
Most of the patients who sought consultation were suffering from fever, cough, sore throat, chest congestion, flu, earache, toothache, scabies, knee pain, body pain, high BP, heart issues, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, anemia, and diabetes.
Preventive Healthcare Session
During the free medical camp, one of our expert doctors held a preventive healthcare session focused on heart attack prevention for the attendees.
Impact
The lives of 252 deserving patients and their families were positively impacted by the free medical camp, which offered free consultations, medicines, and diagnostic tests. Moreover, a preventive healthcare session centered around the prevention of heart attacks was conducted, enlightening attendees on the significance of following a healthy diet in their daily routines.
