Two-year-old Saif Ullah, a resident of Abbottabad, had sensorineural hearing loss since birth. His parents learned about his condition and took him to a local hospital when he was a year old. The doctor evaluated him and advised Cochlear Implant Surgery. He was admitted to Ali Medical Centre, Islamabad, where Dr. Jawad performed his operation on 21-06-2022. He installed the internal component of the cochlear implant successfully. He was discharged after one day of stay in the hospital. After six weeks, the external component of his cochlear implant was also fixed. He can hear the sounds around him.
