Prepare for a thunderous return as Rezet, the German speed/thrash metal pioneers, unveil their latest single, "True As Lies," from their highly anticipated self-titled album, set to drop on August 30, 2024, via Violent Creek Records and Soulfood. This new track features a blazing lead guitar performance by the legendary Heavy Metal icon, Lips of Anvil, promising a seismic shift in the metal landscape.

The single is a high-octane precursor to the album, showcasing Rezet's relentless energy and ferocious sound. "True As Lies" is a testament to the band's commitment to delivering an explosive metal experience, and the inclusion of Lips adds a thrilling layer of classic metal prowess to the mix.

The self-titled album, "Rezet," will feature eleven scorching tracks, including a captivating piano intro, demonstrating the band’s evolution and mastery of the genre. Produced by the acclaimed Eike Freese (HELLOWEEN, DEEP PURPLE, HEAVEN SHALL BURN) and the band themselves, the album promises to be a modern thrash metal masterpiece.

"Rezet" marks a new era for the band, now bolstered by the formidable talents of Nikolay Atanasov (AGENT STEEL) on strings and Lorenz Kandolf (TRAITOR) on bass. They join the band's founder and frontman, Ricky Wagner, and the powerful drummer Bastian "attt" Santen, creating a lineup that is more formidable and dynamic than ever.

The album's dystopian artwork, crafted by Pär Oloffsson (Exodus, Aborted, Pathology, Traitor, Finsterforst), visually represents the themes of renewal and aggression that permeate the album. The striking cover art mirrors the band’s rejuvenated sound and thematic depth.
