Description
Watching a hollandaise video doesn't mean you can make one. Mise is a culinary eLearning app that proves it: learners cook, submit evidence, and get a chef's verdict. Full walkthrough by SoluLab 👇
Most online courses track one thing: whether a video was watched. For a professional cooking school, that's the wrong measure. This demo walks through Mise, the digital culinary school SoluLab built to measure what learners can actually do.
You'll see the full skills assessment loop on one real technique, classic hollandaise. A learner studies the chef demonstration and method on the web, cooks it in the kitchen, then submits a photo, time taken and notes from the iOS or Android app. The instructor reviews everything in one queue, writes specific critique and marks the attempt competent or not yet competent. The learner resubmits with that feedback in hand, and both attempts sit side by side.
Progress is measured by assessed techniques, not videos watched. Administrators manage cohorts, instructors and practicals from one web dashboard, with role-based access keeping each group's submissions private.
Planning cooking school app development, or any e-learning app development where practical skills matter more than completion rates? This is what one connected web and mobile platform looks like.
