Description
Our practical workshop on splint-making demonstration was a huge success! 💪✨ On 16th February 2023, 58 enthusiastic students attended this hands-on session, discovering the art of splinting injuries. Splints, whether static or dynamic, play a crucial role in immobilizing and protecting displaced or damaged body parts. Under the guidance of our skilled teacher, the students learned to assess injuries, select appropriate splints, and apply them correctly. They even practiced casting on each other, gaining invaluable experience. The static cock-up splint was the star of the demonstration, crafted with precision using materials like plaster of Paris, cotton, and bandages. Safety measures were diligently followed throughout, ensuring a successful and informative workshop.
