#IPDD2026 | Parking Sensors Are Costly. Citriot Does It With a Camera
Parking is getting harder to manage, and the sensors that track each bay add up fast. At IPDD 2026, hosted by RealtyNXT on 17 September at Taj MG Road, Bengaluru, Faraaz Syed, Founder and CEO of Citriot, showed how his team solves it with cameras.
Citriot’s AI reads the number plate, vehicle make and colour at entry, and tracks live occupancy through existing CCTV. One IP camera covers ten spaces instead of one, which cuts CapEx about nine times and removes much of the sensor cabling. The same camera handles security and parking data. Citriot has customers across Bangalore, Pune, Delhi, Chennai and Dubai, and is now deploying in the US, including Walmart warehouses and shopping complexes.
