Description
Dubai is planning a massive shift from supercars to sustainable mobility with The Loop, a proposed 93 kilometre climate controlled corridor estimated at $22 billion. Designed to connect more than 3 million residents, the project aims to make walking and cycling the preferred choice for over 80 percent of residents by 2040.
Part of the Cycle City 2040 masterplan, The Loop will connect a 1,000 kilometre cycling network with renewable energy, kinetic flooring, vertical farms, recycled water and green spaces. The ambitious vision could reshape how Dubai moves, lives and builds its future.
