Description
Jonathan Cain brought a song called OPEN ARMS to his band Journey. It had been rejected in his first band by John Waite. Steve Perry Loved it. and helped him finish it. Neal Schon the guitarist of Journey loathed it and refused to play it live for some time. Written by Steve Perry and Jonathan Cain the song became Journey's biggest hit because Steve Made it a classic with his soaring tenor voice. Jonathan Cain who is in the press right now for his comments about Bruce Springsteen tells the story.

I had a similar experience with today’s featured song: Open Arms, by Journey.
Anyone who watches this channel knows that I love Journey. And I consider their 1981 record Escape one of the greatest
