CSIR NET 2021 is divided into two papers - Paper I and Paper-II.
Paper-I has questions about understanding, general awareness, divergent thinking, and reasoning ability. The aim is to test the research ability, general character, and ability to teach students.
Paper-II has questions about a topic that candidates choose during the application process. These will be curriculum questions at the bachelor's and master's levels.
