We’re excited to have Ryan McAuley back in the McNeela Studio as he reviews and showcases the powerful Renegade 5-String Banjo from McNeela Music. Crafted from mahogany for a warm, mellow tone, the Renegade is built with a resonator that projects your sound outward, making it perfect for sessions, performances, and jam rooms. With a double-footed bridge for a brighter, more vibrant tone and geared planetary tuners for smooth, precise tuning, this banjo offers everything a player could want—at an unbeatable value. To showcase its rich tone and responsiveness, Ryan plays two stunning tunes: “Lilly of the Valley” and “Over the Waterfall”. Its 22-fret neck offers extra room for musical exploration, making the Renegade ideal for American bluegrass, old time music, and more.
