We’re thrilled to feature Ryan McAuley, professional banjo player and member of the acclaimed band Alfi, in the McNeela Studio as he puts the powerful Renegade 5-String Banjo to the test. In this video, Ryan performs the uplifting folk tune “Cluck Ol’ Hen,” showcasing the full tonal range this banjo has to offer. Crafted from mahogany for a warm, mellow tone, the Renegade is built with a resonator that projects sound outward—perfect for sessions, performances, and jam rooms alike. The double-footed bridge delivers a brighter, more vibrant tone, while geared planetary tuners allow for smooth, precise tuning as you play. With a longer 22-fret neck, this banjo offers plenty of room for expression, whether you're leaning towards American bluegrass or more classic folk styles. 🎸 Learn more about the Renegade 5-String Banjo here: https://mcneelamusic.com/banjos/the-renegade-5-string-banjo/ 📀 Follow Ryan’s music with Alfi: https://www.facebook.com/alfimusicireland/ https://www.youtube.com/@alfimusic8354 https://open.spotify.com/artist/
