When Night Falls is the second studio album by the Australian heavy metal band Wicked Smile, released worldwide on February 6, 2026 by the Dutch label No Dust Records (with pre-orders and limited editions already available since the end of 2025, including in Japan in October).
It is the highly anticipated successor to their debut Wait For The Night (2021), maintaining the essence of traditional melodic heavy metal with classic 80s influences, but raising the bar in intensity, dynamism, and production. The Melbourne band, led by guitarist Steve Janevski and vocalist Danny Cecati (whose powerful and expressive vocal range is one of the highlights), delivers a work full of sharp riffs, grandiose sing-along choruses, fiery solos, and a contagious energy reminiscent of icons like Judas Priest, Accept, and even touches of Iron Maiden in more epic moments.
