FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SONUS and IATT Break Into Doom Charts May 2026 With Critically Noted Albums

Two standout releases from the underground heavy music world are making serious waves this month as Doom Charts reveals its May 2026 list, featuring client projects IATT with Etheric Realms of the Night and SÖNUS with Planes of Torment .
Both albums are earning attention for their depth, atmosphere, and refusal to play it safe, each carving out a distinct space in today’s heavy music landscape.
IATT – Etheric Realms of the Night

Progressive / Melodic Black / Death Metal | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania | Black Lion Records
IATT continues to push forward with a sound that balances technical precision and emotional weight. Etheric Realms of the Night has been recognized for its ability to expand on the band’s established identity while refusing to lose its edge.
Justin Wittenmeier (DoomedForMetal) highlights the band’s evolution:

“IATT has crafted quite the album with Etheric Realms of the Night . The problem with prog metal bands is that sometimes after releasing an album as good as ‘Magnum Opus,’ they don’t know where to go. Some get even heavier and lose the proggy parts that made them so interesting. Others get lighter with so much prog they just become boring. IATT focused on their sound and introduced new pathways while injecting their older ones with steroids.”

The result is a record that feels both familiar and forward-moving, built for listeners who want complexity without losing impact.
SÖNUS – Planes of Torment

Garage Rock / Stoner Rock / Psychedelic Rock / Space Rock | San Francisco, California | Self-Released
SÖNUS delivers a raw, cinematic descent into heavy psychedelia with Planes of Torment , an album that critics are describing as both punishing and cathartic.
Turbo (Rich & Turbo’s Heavy Half Hour) frames it with blunt intensity:

“Pretty sure SÖNUS’s latest album Planes of Torment is an updated 21st Century version of Dante’s Inferno. The whole culmination of the sound in this album just has that weight, the weight of the heavy burden upon your soul. This album is heavy, dark, harrowing, and cathartic. When your anger rises, crank this baby up and have a soundtrack for your fury.”

Jon McGough (Stoner Rock Army, Stoner HiVe, Outlaws Of The Sun) adds:

“SÖNUS brings a heavy psychedelic garage sound with a genuine retro throwback vibe. Maybe it’s the production, maybe it’s because Planes of Torment was recorded live in the studio, or maybe it’s simply the songwriting itself. Tracks like Pagan Woman and Scorpio feel as though they were pulled from another era entirely, while the hauntingly good vocals add an eerie presence that lingers long after the songs end.”

Underground Momentum Building

With both albums now featured on the May 2026 Doom Charts, IATT and SÖNUS continue to gain momentum among critics and listeners who value authenticity, atmosphere, and fearless songwriting.
From progressive extremity to psychedelic heaviness, these releases prove once again that the underground is where some of the most important heavy music is still being forged the old-school way, loud, honest, and unfiltered.
More updates to follow as both releases continue to spread through the global metal and rock underground.
Melodic hard rock force delivers emotionally charged new chapter following Cracking The Moment
Female-fronted multinational melodic hard rock band Rising Alma is set to release their powerful new EP, Your Own Story , on July 24, 2026.
Blending the emotional depth of alternative rock with the weight and punch of melodic hard rock, Your Own Story delivers a modern, expressive sound built on heavy riffs, soaring vocals, and strong, memorable songwriting. The five-track release shows a band continuing to evolve without losing the emotional core that defines them.
Formed in 2021, Rising Alma has quickly built a distinct identity rooted in balance, strength and vulnerability. Drawing influence from acts such as Shinedown and Flyleaf, the band fuses heavy instrumentation with melodic intensity, creating music that hits both personal and cinematic levels.
Lyrically, Your Own Story explores struggle, transformation, hope, ambition, and resilience. Each track stands on its own, while also contributing to a larger emotional arc that invites listeners into a space where reflection and power collide.
The project follows their previous album Cracking The Moment , marking a clear step forward in both sound and vision. The production stays raw and organic, keeping the emotional weight up front while still delivering impact and energy where it counts.
The band comments on the release:
“ Your Own Story is more than just a collection of songs. It’s an emotional experience shaped by growth, contrast, and real life. Every track brings a different perspective, but together they tell a story about facing what life throws at you and finding strength through it.”
The first single, “Colors Flow All Around Us,” is out now and accompanied by an official music video, giving fans the first full look into this new era of Rising Alma.
With tight arrangements, powerful performances, and a fearless approach to evolution, Rising Alma continues to push forward as a standout voice in modern melodic hard rock.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PainDemic Unleash Debut Single "FWF" Across All Streaming Platforms

Heavy melodic metal outfit PainDemic have officially released their debut single, "FWF," now available on Spotify and all major digital streaming platforms as of February 27, 2026. The track serves as the first official recording from the project and the opening chapter of their upcoming full-length album, McGovney's House Party , scheduled for Spring 2027 via No Life Till Metal, with early release activity through Gutted Records on Bandcamp.
PainDemic is built on a foundation of deep American metal history and a fresh surge of new energy. The rhythm section features Gary Monardo (bass) alongside drummer Johnnie Tabares, both widely known for their work on landmark recordings with Hirax, including Raging Violence and Hate, Fear and Power . While Tabares is no longer an active member of the band moving forward, his performance remains part of the recorded foundation of this early material.
On vocals, Rob Perkins brings a long and varied history in the underground. In the early 1980s, Perkins performed in Wargod alongside legendary drummer Gene Hoglan and guitarist Michelle Meldrum before later reuniting with Monardo and Tabares in Cold Blood during the late 1980s demo era.
Leading the next generation of the lineup is guitarist Cheyenne Scott, a rising talent awarded the Cliff Burton Scholarship in 2023, named in honor of the late Metallica bassist. The award recognized her early passion for "Creeping Death" and her dedication to developing her craft within the spirit of classic heavy metal.
Production for "FWF" and the upcoming album is handled by legendary producer Bill Metoyer, known for his work with Slayer, Flotsam and Jetsam, Armored Saint, and many other cornerstone acts of the genre. Recording took place at Travis Dickerson Recording Studio in Chatsworth, California, in August 2025, with mixing and mastering completed in December 2025.
Sonically, PainDemic pulls from the roots of classic heavy metal, thrash aggression, and melodic weight, built for listeners who still value grit, songwriting, and raw energy over digital polish.
For fans of Anthrax, Metallica, and Slayer, PainDemic sits right in that lineage where thrash attitude meets heavy metal tradition. Early algorithmic support on Spotify has already linked the project to these cornerstone artists, reinforcing the band's natural placement in the modern heavy metal ecosystem.
The visual identity remains raw and hand-crafted. Band artwork is created by Fae Kington, while the logo was hand-drawn by Dea Monardo, keeping the aesthetic grounded in traditional metal presentation.
With "FWF" now streaming worldwide, PainDemic continues building momentum toward the release of McGovney's House Party , currently in its final writing stages ahead of a Spring 2027 release.
Band Bio

PainDemic is a collision of legacy and evolution. Formed by musicians with roots in the early American metal underground, the band bridges eras of thrash and heavy metal without chasing trends or digital gloss. With members tied to historically significant recordings and a new generation guitarist pushing the sound forward, PainDemic delivers music built on experience, attitude, and pure volume.
Quote

"We didn't build this to sound polished or safe. We built it to feel like a live wire. 'FWF' is just the first shock through the system."
PainDemic
PainDemic is just getting started, and if "FWF" is the warning shot, the full-length album is going to hit a lot harder.

Instagram is no longer just a photo-sharing app, it is one of the world's most popular social media platforms. Millions of people upload videos daily, from entertainment to educational, product demonstrations, travel experiences to business promotion. With videos taking the center stage of social media platforms, there is a demand for people to find a convenient way to store their favorite videos for later viewing.
The rise of video content on Instagram

In the last several years, video has emerged as the medium of choice for makers and viewers. Videos are more interesting than still images as they can tell a story, show a product and/or grab the attention of the viewer. They've seen an increase in platform time thanks to features like Reels, Stories and video posts.
Video marketing is also beneficial for the businesses as it allows them to communicate with customers in a more personal and interactive manner. You can put in videos to communicate multiple messages such as snapshots from a business, a product training or customer testimonials.
Why Users Save Instagram Videos

People want to save Instagram videos for various reasons. A subset of users want to view content in future without connectivity. Some store educational videos, exercise plans, recipes or travel plans for future use.
Successful videos are studied by content creators to gain insights into new editing techniques, storytelling methods, marketing strategies, and more. Being able to access saved content can help to learn trends more easily and inspire project ideas.
Benefits of Offline Access

The major benefit of saving videos is that you can access them offline. There may be poor connectivity, particularly when mobile or outside areas with good network coverage. Valuable videos can be accessed by the users whenever they need it.
To save data, you can also view offline. Users get to view videos that have been saved without using their mobile data.
It might be helpful to save the videos, but consider copyright and creator's rights. Users should always use materials downloaded from the Internet in an appropriate manner, and should not share videos without the author's permission. Likes, comments, shares and follows are tools to promote good content.
Engaging video production is accomplished by content makers who invest a great deal of time and resources. They are respected and keep an active and creative online community alive.
How Video Downloads Improve Content Accessibility

It is imperative to have access to information in today's digital world
When users download helpful Instagram videos, they can easily access the educational tutorials, business tips, fitness classes and creative material as and when they require them. This has made the learning process more accessible for people to learn at their own speed and be able to learn from valuable content even when they don't have internet. Being able to quickly access stored video files can be helpful - and productive - for students, professionals, and content makers.
Choosing a trustworthy video downloading solution

Given the numerous tools available online, it is crucial to select an easy-to-use and reliable tool. What most people looking for is something that allows them to save their favorite Instagram videos fast without having to get into the hassle and wait for a lengthy download.
When you are looking for a tool to store educational content, content for inspiration or entertaining material, then it has to be smooth and simple! A lot of people are searching for a way to download video Instagram without compromising on the original quality of the video and also getting to access them whenever they are required.
The solution must also be compatible with other gadgets like smartphones, tablets and PCs. The more easy it is, the more user friendly it is and the simpler it is.
Final Thoughts

Instagram videos have turned into a vital component of the web's communication, amusement, and learning. There continues to be a demand for users to have easy access to their content of choice at a convenient time, as the platform grows. With proper and ethical use, the ability to save videos for offline viewing can be highly beneficial for learning, inspiration or for personal use.
The use of trusted solutions and content creators' respect will benefit the user's viewing experience and contribute to the color community of Instagram.

CREEPER Talk Crushing , Texas Metal, Horror Movies, and What's Next With The Zach Moonshine Show

Texas groove metal wrecking crew CREEPER USA recently joined The Zach Moonshine Show on Metal Devastation Radio for an in-depth conversation about their crushing new album, the creative process behind the band, working alongside legendary producers Kerry Crafton and Sterling Winfield, and why they believe every song should hit like an anthem.
Before diving into the interview, vocalist Tex pointed out that the version of "Screaming Demon" played during the broadcast was an earlier mix that was accidentally sent over, missing its final third verse. Even so, the track immediately set the tone for a conversation full of laughs, stories, and plenty of Texas-sized metal talk.
Built The Old School Way

Although Creeper officially formed in 2007, the current lineup really found its identity after bassist Ian joined in 2021.
Ian explained that guitarist and founder Jimi Fritz had one clear goal: finally assemble a stable lineup capable of recording a complete album together after years of lineup changes had stalled previous efforts.
That chemistry quickly became the foundation of Crushing .
"We're like a machine now," Tex said. "We rehearse all the time."
The band credits that chemistry, especially between the rhythm section, as one of the biggest reasons the new material feels tighter and heavier than anything they've released before.
Working With Texas Metal Legends

One of the biggest talking points was the production team behind Crushing .
The album brought together Kerry Crafton , known for his work with King Diamond and Rigor Mortis, alongside Sterling Winfield , whose production credits include Pantera and Mercyful Fate.
For Creeper, the collaboration wasn't just about having legendary names attached to the project.
It became an opportunity to learn from decades of studio experience.
The band described sitting in listening sessions where Crafton and Winfield demonstrated how seemingly tiny adjustments, sometimes just a single decibel, completely transformed a mix.
Those lessons helped shape an album that sounds powerful without sacrificing clarity.
Tex also revealed that the recording process stretched close to a year after Winfield relocated and built a new studio, creating an unexpected pause before tracking resumed.
Looking back, the band says the extra time ultimately helped the record become even stronger.
No Fillers. Every Song Has To Hit.

One philosophy kept coming up throughout the interview.
Creeper doesn't believe in filler tracks.
Tex explained that too many albums contain only a handful of memorable songs surrounded by material that simply fills space.
Their goal is different.
"We want every song to sound like it's an anthem."
That mindset carried throughout Crushing , and the band says they'll take the exact same approach on their next release.
Horror, Serial Killers, and Storytelling

One of the most entertaining parts of the conversation centered around the band's lyrical themes.
Rather than writing about politics or relationships, Creeper builds songs around horror films, infamous serial killers, and true crime.
Tex explained that he wants listeners to be entertained and transported into a story.
Among the inspirations discussed were:

Jack the Ripper ("10 Bells")
Ted Bundy
Wayne Williams and the Atlanta Child Murders ("The River")
The Devil's Rejects

The vocalist also revealed that many of the songs are written from the killer's perspective rather than the victim's, allowing listeners to experience the story from a completely different point of view.
The discussion naturally drifted into true crime documentaries, horror movies, and podcasts, with everyone agreeing that real-life crime stories can often be more unsettling than fictional horror.
The Texas Metal Sound

Naturally, the conversation turned toward the comparisons Creeper often receives, like Pantera etc.
The band welcomes every one of those comparisons.
Rather than trying to imitate anyone, Creeper sees those references as compliments rooted in growing up surrounded by the rich Texas metal tradition.
According to the band, what they're really chasing isn't someone else's sound.
It's the energy.
The groove.
The feeling that gets a crowd moving.
Already Looking Toward Album Two

Despite Crushing only recently arriving, Creeper is already hard at work on its follow-up.
The band revealed they'll soon return to the studio with Kerry Crafton and Sterling Winfield to record two brand-new singles for the next album.
If their confidence is any indication, they have no plans on slowing down.
According to Tex, the next record will stay true to everything fans loved about Crushing while pushing the intensity even further.
Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest?

Toward the end of the interview, the conversation shifted toward the Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest.
After talking about the growing Southern metal scene and the festival's success, Creeper expressed genuine interest in making the trip to Tennessee in the future.
With their energetic live show and Southern roots, they certainly sound like a band that would fit right in.
Watch Creeper

Fans can keep up with Creeper through their official social media pages and YouTube channel, where their videos have already surpassed one million combined views.
If Crushing is any indication, Creeper isn't interested in following trends or chasing algorithms.
They're simply writing the kind of heavy, groove-driven metal they grew up loving, and judging by the momentum they're building, plenty of fans are ready to come along for the ride.
Stay tuned to Metal Devastation Radio for more exclusive interviews, underground metal news, and the heaviest music from around the world.
IATT's Etheric Realms of the Night Named One of Metal Injection's "15 Best New Releases You Need To Hear This Year"

Philadelphia, PA – Progressive blackened death metal visionaries IATT continue to receive widespread acclaim for their latest full-length release, Etheric Realms of the Night , which has now been recognized by Metal Injection as one of the 15 Best New Releases You Need To Hear This Year .
The honor places IATT alongside some of metal's most respected names, including Megadeth, Converge, Sylosis, Exodus, Neurosis, Corrosion of Conformity, Archspire, Immolation, At The Gates, Dimmu Borgir, Lex Legion , and more, further cementing the band's reputation as one of the most innovative forces in today's progressive extreme metal underground.
In its feature, Metal Injection praised the album's ambitious songwriting and conceptual depth, highlighting the band's ability to seamlessly blend progressive arrangements with crushing blackened death metal.
The publication described Etheric Realms of the Night as:

"Philadelphia's IATT have been quietly building one of the more interesting bodies of work in progressive extreme metal, and Etheric Realms of the Night is the record where all those ambitions land cleanly."

The review goes on to applaud the album's immersive concept, which explores the fragile boundary between wakefulness and oblivion through constantly shifting moods and dynamic compositions.
Metal Injection also singled out the record's impressive guest appearances, featuring legendary flutist Didier Malherbe alongside violin and saxophone contributions from Jørgen Munkeby (Shining). Rather than softening the band's extreme sound, these elements deepen the album's atmosphere while maintaining its relentless intensity.
The publication concluded by recommending the record to fans of adventurous progressive metal, citing artists such as Opeth, Enslaved, Thy Catafalque, and Ihsahn.
Since its release, Etheric Realms of the Night has continued to earn praise from critics and fans alike for its fearless musicianship, cinematic scope, and uncompromising vision. This latest recognition from Metal Injection marks another major milestone in the band's growing career and underscores the impact the album has made within the extreme metal community.
Fans who have yet to experience Etheric Realms of the Night are encouraged to discover why it is quickly becoming one of the year's most celebrated progressive extreme metal releases.
Congratulations to IATT on this outstanding and well-deserved achievement.
LOST RELICS ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE “SAINT CATHARINES” OUT JUNE 26

First taste of upcoming EP Monuments to the Useless

Denver sludge and dirt rock heavyweights Lost Relics are back with new material, kicking off a powerful release cycle with their upcoming single “Saint Catharines,” arriving June 26.
Built on weight, tension, and raw emotional pressure, Lost Relics continue to sharpen their identity as one of the most uncompromising underground forces in modern heavy music. Formed in 2018, the band has evolved into a three-vocalist unit, layering abrasive sludge, noise, and post-hardcore intensity into something that feels both chaotic and tightly controlled.
“Saint Catharines” sets the tone for what is to come on their upcoming EP Monuments to the Useless , due September 25, 2026. The track leans into the band’s signature blend of suffocating heaviness and deliberate pacing, pulling influence from the bleak, expansive energy of artists like Neurosis , the raw experimental weight of Melvins , and the abrasive urgency of KEN Mode while still carving out something distinctly their own.
Lyrically, the single continues Lost Relics’ focus on disillusionment, pressure, and the quiet collapse of modern life, delivered without polish or compromise. It is heavy music that does not ask for permission and does not offer relief.
The EP Monuments to the Useless will feature five tracks in total, expanding on the same themes of tension, aggression, and controlled chaos, shifting between hypnotic desert rock passages and crushing sludge driven intensity.
Second single “False Idols” will follow on August 28 ahead of the full release.
“Monuments to the Useless” was recorded and mixed by Felipe Patino at Green Door Studios in Denver, Colorado, and mastered by Jason Livermore at The Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado. The release is coming via Golden Robot Records.

  FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
POST DEATH SOUNDTRACK ANNOUNCES NEW DOUBLE ALBUM

BARREN MOTHER OF ALL ARRIVING JULY 14, 2026

Canadian experimental heavy music force Post Death Soundtrack returns with a massive new statement in the form of a double album, BARREN MOTHER OF ALL , releasing July 14, 2026. The record continues the project’s reputation for pushing far beyond genre lines while digging deeper into themes that are as heavy as the sound itself.
This release marks the third chapter in a trilogy of 30-song works, following GRIST and IN ALL MY NIGHTMARES I AM ALONE . Across all three records, the project has carved out a distinct space where industrial noise, post-punk tension, darkwave atmosphere, doom weight, and dystopian psychedelia all collide without asking permission.
A DESCENT INTO THE VOID

BARREN MOTHER OF ALL does not play it safe. It leans hard into uncomfortable territory, exploring collapse, addiction, trauma, spiritual crisis, and the uneasy condition of modern existence. The album title itself draws from philosophical inspiration tied to Nisargadatta Maharaj, whose concept of existence as “the child of a barren woman” helped shape the record’s central identity.
This is music built for confrontation, not comfort.
Sonically, the album pulls from industrial grit, witch house haze, gothic rock drama, post-punk edge, noise abrasion, 80s horror soundtrack tension, and a distorted sense of melody that keeps everything just barely balanced on the edge of chaos.
As creator Stephen James Moore puts it in spirit, this is not a filtered version of reality. It is the raw feed.
TRACKLIST HIGHLIGHTS AND COVER VARIETY

Spanning 35 tracks, the album moves through short shocks, sprawling cuts, and reinterpretations of iconic material, including covers of Beastie Boys – Looking Down the Barrel of a Gun , Tom Waits – The Ocean Doesn't Want Me Today , PJ Harvey – Long Snake Moan , and Rage Against the Machine – Settle For Nothing , all filtered through the project’s bleak and experimental lens.
Original cuts like “Queen Bee,” “No Loss,” “Red Robin,” “Chaos, My Love,” and “Truth is in Demand” sit alongside live recordings, bonus tracks, and fragmented pieces that feel intentionally unstable, like transmissions from a collapsing signal.
COMMUNITY REACTION

Early listener responses across the music community have already started forming a split conversation, ranging from praise for its darkwave authenticity and 2000s underground atmosphere to debate around lyrical content and intensity.
Some listeners are calling it a return to true underground dark aesthetics, while others admit the record is intentionally difficult to fully decode on first listen. That tension seems to be exactly the point.
A PROJECT BUILT ON CONSTANT EVOLUTION

Post Death Soundtrack continues to operate as a constantly shifting outlet for heavy ideas and heavier sound design. The project blends philosophy, emotional extremity, and experimental production into a catalog that refuses to sit still long enough to be categorized cleanly.
This new double album pushes that identity even further, embracing discomfort, distortion, and artistic risk as core principles rather than side effects.
RELEASE INFO

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Funeral Doom Architects Aphonic Threnody Announce New Album Grace My Heart

Release Date: August 7th, 2026
Genre: Funeral Doom / Death Doom Metal
For Fans Of: My Dying Bride , Ennui , Pantheist
International funeral doom collective Aphonic Threnody return with their most focused and emotionally devastating statement to date, Grace My Heart , arriving August 7th, 2026 via self-release.
Forged from members of the global extreme metal underground, Aphonic Threnody have long been known for crafting massive, slow-burning compositions that feel less like songs and more like collapsing cathedrals of sound. Across previous releases such as When Death Comes and The Great Hatred , the band built a reputation for blending crushing funeral doom weight with mournful melody, distant choirs, and an overwhelming sense of spiritual decay and transcendence.
With Grace My Heart , that vision is refined into something even more intentional.
This is doom stripped of decoration and left in its purest emotional form.
The album moves through themes of endurance, loss, and spiritual fracture. Each composition unfolds with patience and restraint, allowing heaviness and silence to coexist in equal measure. Moments of crushing distortion are balanced by fragile passages that feel almost suspended in time.
The band comment on the record:
“This album isn’t about despair. It’s about endurance. How grief becomes grace when you allow it to remain.”
Following When Death Comes and The Great Hatred , this new chapter stands as Aphonic Threnody’s most unified and deliberate work to date, a record that leans fully into atmosphere, weight, and emotional truth.
THUNDERCHIEF Announces New Album With Hatchet, Pike or Morning Star... and Summer 2026 Tour

Virginia-based heavy metal/punk outfit THUNDERCHIEF will release its new full-length album, With Hatchet, Pike or Morning Star... , via ASR Records on CD and digital platforms on July 1, 2026. The band will follow the release with a four-week U.S. tour beginning July 6 in support of the album, with additional regional touring planned for October.
Continuing their signature fusion of aggressive metal, raw punk energy, and hard rock influence, With Hatchet, Pike or Morning Star... stands as THUNDERCHIEF’s most focused and direct release to date. Across its runtime, the album delivers a relentless collection of heavy riffs, frantic rhythms, and unsettling lyrical themes, touching on modern social tension, politics, humanity, and the ongoing frustration surrounding concert ticket pricing and music streaming economics.
The band comments: “We are really excited about this album. It hits on everything we like about making music. We pushed ourselves in a few new directions this time, adding elements that weren’t present on earlier records. We’re really stoked on how fans have responded to hearing these songs live.”
Formed in Richmond, Virginia, THUNDERCHIEF has built its identity on a raw and abrasive blend of metal and hardcore punk, balancing weight and urgency in equal measure. This new release expands on that foundation with a sharper focus on momentum, intensity, and groove, while avoiding overproduction or modern studio excess. The album also features a reinterpretation of the 1973 cult classic “Entrance of the Devil” by Zior.
With Hatchet, Pike or Morning Star... will be released July 1, 2026 via ASR Records, followed immediately by a four-week national tour beginning July 6.
NOTHING SACRED RETURN WITH TWO NEW 2026 RELEASES

Old School Speed Metal veterans unleash “Am I Going Insane” and “Your Time Will Come” — both available now
Nothing Sacred are back in full force, carrying the torch of raw, fast, no-nonsense heavy metal straight out of the early wave that helped shape Australia’s underground scene.
The band’s explosive take on “Am I Going Insane” (Black Sabbath cover) was released on April 3rd, 2026. Their new original single “Your Time Will Come” followed on May 28th, 2026 — both releases are now available worldwide.

OLD SCHOOL METAL WITH BLOOD, SWEAT, AND HISTORY

Formed in the early 1980s, Nothing Sacred emerged from Australia’s hard rock dominated landscape, pushing hard against the “pub rock” norm with a sharper, faster, NWOBHM-influenced edge. While bands like AC/DC and Rose Tattoo ruled the bars, Nothing Sacred helped carve out something heavier, faster, and more aggressive for the underground.
By 1986, their relentless live reputation landed them headlining the Metal for Melbourne festival, pulling over 1,400 fans and cementing their place in Aussie metal history.
Through the 80s, the band self-released cult favorites including the Deathwish EP and the Let Us Prey album, both recorded in just four days and now regarded as underground classics. The band’s story later intersected with members contributing to early Hobbs Angel of Death recordings, while the shifting 90s scene saw the group fade into semi-dormancy.
Fast forward to the 2000s and beyond, Nothing Sacred returned to active duty, reigniting interest through documentaries, international festival appearances, and a new wave of global recognition. Recent years have seen them share stages with heavyweights like Udo Dirkschneider, Metal Church, and Paul Di’Anno, plus tours across Europe and Japan.

2026: A NEW CHAPTER WITH TEETH

Their 2026 output shows a band that refuses to slow down.
The Black Sabbath cover, originally recorded for an Ozzy tribute compilation benefiting Fight Parkinson’s, is a raw and crushing reinterpretation of a classic.
A statement from Sham explains it best:

“We picked this track as there’s not much you can do to the classic Black Sabbath tracks that could make them better than the original. This was the one track that could be open to interpretation and turned into just about anything which is exactly what we did.”

The result is a thunderous, heavy-as-hell tribute that stays true to the spirit of Sabbath while dragging it through the fire of Nothing Sacred’s speed metal identity.
Meanwhile, “Your Time Will Come” delivers something darker and more narrative driven. The track tells the story of a condemned man facing execution without fear or regret, transforming his suffering into legacy and defiance. It is a song about conviction, sacrifice, and the idea that belief does not die with the body.

SOUND AND STYLE

Genre: Old School Speed Metal
FFO: NWOBHM, Motörhead, early Iron Maiden, Angel Witch, Tokyo Blade

PRODUCTION

All recording, mixing, mastering, and production handled by Sham.

LABEL STATUS

Recent releases have been handled independently following prior partnerships with Rockshots Records, Dies Irae (South America), and Rue Morgue Records. The band plans to reassess label support after completing their next recording cycle.

BAND STATEMENT ON “YOUR TIME WILL COME”

The song is built around defiance in the face of judgment, turning execution into transformation. The character at its center refuses silence, refuses regret, and frames death as the beginning of something that outlives the body.
BANISHED TRUTH Drops Official Music Video for “Banished Truth (Happily Oblivious)” From Debut Album Exilium Veritatis
Death Metal Project Unleashes Title Track Visual From Self-Produced Album Out Now
Banished Truth is back with a fresh visual punch straight to the jaw, releasing the official music video for “Banished Truth (Happily Oblivious),” the title track from the debut album Exilium Veritatis .
Built from the ground up as a self-produced death metal statement, Banished Truth is the creation of Indian guitarist and lifelong metal devotee Vikas D. What started as a solo vision has now fully manifested into a razor-edged blend of classic death metal aggression, melodic precision, and uncompromising lyrical depth.
The new video captures the essence of the project in its rawest form, pairing blistering riffs and surgical lead work with a dark, introspective edge that hits just as hard visually as it does sonically.
Influenced by the melodic chaos of Children of Bodom, the unrelenting brutality of Deicide, and the technical force of Vader, Banished Truth delivers a sound built on old-school foundations with modern execution. No gloss, no trends, just pure intent.
“This album aims to balance aggression and fury with melody and instrumental craft alongside socio-political and existential themes,” says Vikas D.
Exilium Veritatis was conceived, written, performed, and produced entirely by Vikas D, making it a true one-man death metal assault. Every track reflects a refusal to cut corners, keeping the spirit of the genre intact while pushing it forward on his own terms.
While Banished Truth currently operates as a solo studio project, plans are already in motion to expand into a full live lineup. Musicians are being sought to complete the formation, including lead guitar, bass, and drums, for future stage domination.
For now, the focus is clear. The music speaks first.

Dime GuitarZ Launches as the Exclusive Home of Official Dimebag Darrell Guitars

In Dime We Trust Announces Dime GuitarZ: Continuing the Legacy of Dimebag Darrell

The legacy of legendary Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell is entering an exciting new chapter with the launch of Dime GuitarZ , the exclusive home of officially licensed Dimebag Darrell guitars. Available now at dimeguitarz.com , the new venture brings together two of the most important figures connected to Dime's guitar legacy: renowned guitar designer and builder Dean Zelinsky and Rita Haney , Dimebag's longtime partner and steward of his legacy.
The mission behind Dime GuitarZ is clear: to create the guitars Dimebag Darrell would be playing today while honoring the innovations, designs, and spirit that made him one of the most influential guitarists in heavy metal history.
Rita Haney: Preserving Dimebag Darrell's True Guitar Legacy

According to Rita Haney, there has long been confusion surrounding Dimebag Darrell's relationship with guitar manufacturers following his tragic passing in December 2004.
"The mission is simple. To build the guitars Dimebag Darrell would be playing today," says Haney. "Dean Zelinsky built the beloved guitars he played, including the Dean From Hell. That is who Dime wanted building his guitars."
Haney emphasizes that Dime's relationship was with Dean Zelinsky himself, not with later iterations of the company that emerged after Dime's death. Through Dime GuitarZ, she aims to ensure that fans and players receive instruments built according to Dimebag's original vision and specifications.
Grady "Dragon" Champion Joins the Dime GuitarZ Team

Another key figure involved in the project is Grady "Dragon" Champion , one of Dimebag Darrell's closest friends and longtime guitar technician.
Champion spent years working directly with Dime, helping shape the legendary guitarist's sound and understanding firsthand what made his instruments unique.
"What can I say about my passion for all things Dime," Champion explains. "He brought me into his world, taught me everything he liked and everything his sound was about. It all started with the guitars."
His involvement ensures that the feel, playability, and performance characteristics that Dime demanded from his instruments remain at the heart of every Dime GuitarZ model.
The Return of the Legendary Dimebag Culprit Guitar

The first models being introduced under the Dime GuitarZ banner are the highly sought-after Culprit guitars , one of Dimebag Darrell's earliest original guitar designs.
Although originally produced in limited numbers, the Culprit became a cult favorite among collectors and dedicated Dime fans. Now, the design returns with modern upgrades while maintaining the aggressive aesthetic and unmistakable identity that helped establish Dime as a guitar designer.
New Culprit models will be available in several iconic Dimebag Darrell-inspired finishes, including:

Dime Slime
Dime Bolt
Black Jack
Additional signature graphics and custom designs

Dean Zelinsky Technology Powers the New Dime GuitarZ Line

The USA-built Culprit models feature several of Dean Zelinsky's most innovative technologies.
Z-Glide Neck Technology

One standout feature is Zelinsky's patented Z-Glide Neck , a laser-engineered process designed to dramatically reduce friction while playing.
As Zelinsky explains:

"We remove 72% of the neck's surface. Your hand only comes in contact with 28%, the rest is air."

The result is faster movement, smoother playability, and enhanced comfort for guitarists pushing their instruments to the limit.
DimeBooster Circuit

Every Dime GuitarZ Culprit will also include the innovative new DimeBooster Circuit .
Activated through a push/pull tone control, the DimeBooster provides up to 15dB of clean boost instantly, giving players additional power and sustain without sacrificing clarity.
One of the most unique aspects of the system is that it requires no traditional battery . Instead, the circuit uses rechargeable technology, with a 60-second charge via USB-C providing more than 20 hours of boosted playing time.
For modern metal guitarists seeking flexibility and performance, the DimeBooster represents a significant advancement in onboard guitar electronics.
Dean Zelinsky Reflects on His Friendship with Dimebag Darrell

For Dean Zelinsky, the launch of Dime GuitarZ is more than a business venture. It is a deeply personal project rooted in decades of friendship and collaboration.
"I've been fortunate to have a long and incredible career in the guitar business," Zelinsky says. "At this stage of my career, there is nothing I would rather be doing than building the Dime GuitarZ line."
Zelinsky credits Dimebag Darrell with helping introduce his guitar designs to players around the world and remembers him as one of the most authentic and passionate musicians he ever worked with.
"This project is all about continuing the legacy of one of the most influential guitar players who ever lived. If there's one thing I know for certain, Dime would never want us standing still."
According to Zelinsky, Dimebag's spirit of innovation remains the driving force behind every design decision.
Official Dimebag Darrell Guitars Available Now

With the launch of Dime GuitarZ, fans now have a dedicated destination for officially licensed Dimebag Darrell guitars.
The instruments are available directly through Dime GuitarZ, with European distribution through Thomann and additional retail partners joining worldwide.
For collectors, players, and metal fans seeking authentic instruments built around Dimebag Darrell's original designs and vision, Dime GuitarZ represents a new era in preserving one of heavy metal's most celebrated guitar legacies.
About Dime GuitarZ

Dime GuitarZ is a collaboration between Dean Zelinsky and Rita Haney dedicated to building officially licensed Dimebag Darrell guitars. Combining innovative guitar technology, authentic design heritage, and direct input from those closest to Dime's career, the company aims to continue the evolution of Dimebag Darrell's guitar legacy for future generations of players.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HUBRIS UNVEIL NIGHTMARISH ANIMATED LYRIC VIDEO FOR “LIGHTLESS LANTERN” FROM NEW ALBUM ACTS OF SEDITION

Buffalo, NY — Underground black metal force Hubris have released a brand new animated lyric video for “Lightless Lantern,” taken from their recently unleashed full-length Acts of Sedition , out now worldwide.
The track comes from what is already being called a modern underground statement piece, a relentless 51-plus minute barrage of extreme black metal fury that continues to push Hubris further into the upper ranks of American USBM intensity. Drawing comparisons to the uncompromising styles of Gorgoroth , 1349 , and Tsjuder , the band’s sound remains razor sharp, violent, and unfiltered.
“Lightless Lantern” is not just a lyric video in the traditional sense. It is a fully realized animated short film created by Daniel Oakes, an industry veteran known for his work on the long running animated series Archer . Built through months of collaboration between Oakes and Hubris songwriter Hellskald, the result is a cinematic descent into dystopian chaos that mirrors the song’s lyrical themes.
The visual narrative plunges into a Nietzschean collapse of order, where humanity is stripped of illusion and replaced by something far more primal. As civilization burns under the weight of its own delusions, the imagery evolves into a direct visual extension of the Acts of Sedition cover art by Santiago Jamarillo of Triple Seis Design.
Musically and visually, “Lightless Lantern” reinforces the central concept of the album: collapse, rebellion, and rebirth through destruction.
