About midway between the ski slopes of Okemo and Stratton, in the magnificent Green Mountain National Forest, is the small and charming community of Weston, Vermont. The untamed landscape draws in both nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, drawing in skiers, hikers, mountain bikers, and leaf peepers. But until The Weston showed up on Main Street, the neighborhood sadly lacked a really remarkable boutique luxury hotel. The Weston, housed in two old houses, geometry dash is a quaint getaway with nine rooms that evoke the feel of a small country home. The Sharp family managed the property's lengthy makeover, and the results reflect their immaculate taste and personal touch. The Sharp family is well-known for its hospitality tradition, having held hotels including The Carlyle, Gramercy Park Hotel, and the Beverly Wilshire in Los Angeles. Luxurious accents like as hand-carved four-poster beds, 18th-century antiques, Diptyque toiletries, and Lefroy Brooks hardware embellish the interiors. Over a long spring weekend, my teenage son and I went, staying in the roomy Suite Eight, which was more akin to an opulent private residence than a hotel room. The West Indies and the Far East serve as inspiration for the big suite's design, which combines rich carpets, furniture, unique artwork, and framed film photos of the Sharp family's many travels. The enormous sanctuary bath had a soaking tub, a double rainfall shower, and marble vanities. It was quite similar to receiving an invitation to spend the weekend at your fashionable friend's house.
