Description
Streaming has already won on convenience.
It sounds good, gives us instant access to almost any song we want, and will probably keep getting better. So where does that leave CDs and vinyl?
In this Indie Music Minute, Disc Makers CEO Tony van Veen explains why he believes physical music will still be around 10 years from now, why CDs and vinyl offer an experience streaming can’t replace, and why newer physical formats still haven’t come close to taking their place.
Sometimes the inconvenience is part of the appeal.
What do you think? Will artists still be selling CDs and vinyl in 2036?
