Sleep Apnea, a condition affecting millions, yet so many remain undiagnosed. Did you know that according to the American Sleep Apnea Association, over 22 million Americans suffer from sleep apnea?
And what's more startling, 80% of the moderate to severe cases remain undiagnosed. Many think that bulky CPAP machines are the only way out. But there's another door to restful nights. Oral appliance therapy. Sleek, discreet and comfortable, these devices have become a beacon of hope for countless individuals and patients at our dental practice. A world without the constant hum of machines or the hassle of hoses. Just a subtle, effective device giving you the peace you deserve. But treating sleep apnea isn't just about reclaiming sleep, it's safeguarding your heart.
A study in the journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine discovered a correlation between untreated sleep apnea and an increased risk of heart disease. Symptoms like loud snoring, daytime
sleepiness or even moments of stopped breathing during sleep shouldn't be overlooked, especially when we consider that every hour approximately 38 people are diagnosed with sleep apnea That's nearly one person every 90 seconds. It's time to shed light on this silent adversary. For your health, for your peace, for the serene nights of uninterrupted dreams.
