Roof Inspectors Wanted – Nationwide
StructuralEngineers.com is looking for licensed, insured, and experienced professional roof inspectors to partner with us on engineering-related roof inspections throughout the United States.
Our structural engineers are retained by homeowners, insurance companies, attorneys, contractors, and other clients to evaluate residential and commercial roofs for hail, wind, and storm-related damage.
We are looking for qualified roof inspectors who can assist our engineers by performing detailed on-site inspections, taking photographs and measurements, documenting roof conditions, and identifying potential evidence of hail and wind damage. Inspections may include evaluation of shingles, metal roofing, flashing, vents, gutters, siding, and other exterior components that can provide evidence of storm activity.
StructuralEngineers.com provides the clients, establishes the inspection requirements, and prepares the engineering reports. Our engineering team will train and guide inspectors on the photographs, measurements, test areas, and documentation required for each assignment.
Applicants must be properly licensed where required, carry appropriate business and liability insurance, have professional roof inspection experience, and be physically capable of safely accessing residential and commercial roofing systems.
Experience performing hail and wind damage assessments is strongly preferred. Familiarity with identifying hail impacts, wind-related shingle damage, mechanical damage, installation deficiencies, deterioration, and other conditions that may resemble storm damage is particularly valuable.
This is an opportunity for established roof inspectors to add engineering-related inspection assignments to their existing business while working with licensed Professional Engineers on specialized hail, wind, and storm damage investigations.
